The Ocean Breef video for the NESP Marine Biodiversity Hub highlights expeditions undertaken by Dr Neville Barratt and technical divers James Parkinson and Andreas Klocker to a remote and newly discovered reef system off Tasmania’s east coast.
Produced for the NESP website, social media and online news, the video is a combination of reef footage shot by James Parkinson and underwater footage and interviews shot by Crow’s Nest. Written and directed by Bryony Bennett from Lightbox 42.
This story and video received wide spread coverage in traditional media and was shared widely on social media.
For this project we filmed interviews and took underwater footage and stills of James and Andreas diving.
